Job Summary: Senior Client Advisors are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the private banking segment of UOB’s consumer banking franchise. The role holder will work closely with colleagues to understand clients’ needs and deliver exceptional service experience through tailored solutions. He/She must also identify business opportunities within his/her portfolio by upselling or cross-selling appropriate financial solutions to meet clients’ financial goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, asset management or private banking
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly and build long-lasting relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, sound judgement and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Mandarin
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Confident and articulate when dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth clients is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end personalized client relationship management services which include onboarding new clients, providing regular portfolio reviews, managing client enquiries, offering investment advisory services as well as succession planning for high net worth individuals
  • Identify business opportunities within your portfolio by upselling or cross-selling appropriate financial solutions to meet clients’ financial goals
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience by understanding clients’ needs and preferences
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Keep abreast of market trends and developments to enhance product knowledge
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by Head of PB Clients & Markets
