About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Specialist to join a dynamic Claims Team. This role involves managing a portfolio of complex general liability and commercial auto claims, with a focus on industries such as construction, energy, oil & gas, and environmental sectors. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence four days a week.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field (required).
Adjuster license preferred, with a focus on home state licenses in Texas and Florida (assistance provided for obtaining licenses if needed).
Minimum of 5+ years handling general liability and commercial auto bodily injury (BI) and property damage (PD) claims from start to finish.
At least 2+ years of experience managing a litigated claims desk.
Familiarity with industries such as oil & gas, underground tank, environmental, and construction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage high-value claims and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of 85-100 complex general liability and commercial auto claims with exposures ranging from $50,000 to $500,000.
Conduct thorough investigations, evaluate coverage and liability, and develop resolution strategies.
Handle litigated claims, including representing the company in mediations, depositions, and trials.
Collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to identify trends and improve outcomes.
Serve as a technical expert and strategic advisor within your line of business.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on complex claim file management.
