The Senior Claims Manager will primarily work from their home and will be required to attend tri-annual claim meetings with an overnight stay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 to 13 years of diverse experience in Tennessee and Kentucky workers' compensation claims handling is required
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of claims leadership experience managing claim adjusters in Tennessee and Kentucky is required
  • Solid background in coverage analysis, reserving, claims investigation, and litigation management is required
  • Prior work with large or national accounts is required
  • Candidate location in Tennessee or Kentucky is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Focus on fresh, creative approaches on every claim
  • Determine on each claim the need for attorneys, surveillance, and nurse case managers, and then assign, direct, and monitor the vendor
  • Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with their team members
  • Gain consensus from our insureds regarding claim strategies
  • Ensure compliance with required statutes and regulations
