Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 to 13 years of diverse experience in Tennessee and Kentucky workers’ compensation claims handling.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of claims leadership experience managing claim adjusters in Tennessee and Kentucky.
  • Solid background in coverage analysis, reserving, claims investigation, and litigation management.
  • Prior work with large or national accounts.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidate location in Tennessee or Kentucky is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a team of claim professionals.
  • Direct and support senior-level adjusters in their claims handling.
  • Focus on fresh, creative approaches on every claim.
  • Determine the need for attorneys, surveillance, and nurse case managers for each claim.
  • Assign, direct, and monitor vendors as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with team members.
  • Gain consensus from insureds regarding claim strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with required statutes and regulations.
