About The Position

As a Senior Claims Representative, you will investigate moderate to complex commercial casualty claims in a prompt, equitable manner by analyzing coverage, liability, and damages; evaluating reserves; and negotiating settlement or conclusion of claims. This role is ideal for a claims professional who has a proven ability to handle complex coverage, liability, and damage issues. We'll trust you to proactively manage litigated claims while collaborating with defense counsel.

Requirements

• 5+ years casualty claims experience.
• Excellent communication (written/verbal) and inter-personal skills.
• Obtain and retain required state adjuster licenses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools.
• Ability to travel occasionally, as required for proper claim resolution.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Commercial casualty claims experience (e.g., Automobile, General Liability, Product Liability, Umbrella claims, and Construction Defect claims).
• Advanced insurance education desired (e.g., AIC, CPCU, SCLA).
