In the role of Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineering), we'll count on you to direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out). You will be responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff. You will produce and coordinate several projects concurrently, establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production activities. Additionally, you will conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders, coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule. You will track financial aspects of projects, coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule, and work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews. Implementing QA/QC procedures, providing technical reviews and guidance related to design, construction, agency coordination, and overall project implementation will also be part of your responsibilities. You will perform engineering assignments requiring critical thinking and creativity to address unique elements that have limited or no specific code-based guidance, supervise large project staffs, and mentor less-experienced Engineers and Project Managers. Lastly, you will assume leadership responsibilities in support of key clients including local irrigation districts, flood control agencies, California Department of Water Resources, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and perform other duties as needed.
