Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • CA PE REQUIRED
  • Minimum 10 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Design engineering solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief that conforms to organizational and/or regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the analysis of information, the drafting of engineering standards and specifications, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards within own engineering discipline.
  • Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
  • Analyze information and specify the methods and process steps required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan.
  • Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
  • Work within established knowledge management systems to deliver preset outcomes for an area of responsibility.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
  • Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures.
  • Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
  • Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.
