About The Position

ATI has a current need for a full-time Senior Civil Engineer for complex, multimillion dollar construction projects. Work will be at Columbus Air Force Base, near Columbus, Mississippi.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer on complex multimillion dollar construction projects.
• Hold a current Professional Engineering license.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Position requires frequent and recurring construction inspections, which include walking, climbing, stooping, and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain
• Candidates must be US Citizens and must be able to obtain a government clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process, EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual, and the Resident Management System (RMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and comment on Contractor submittals
• Review and comment on Contractor questions
• Review and comment on Contractor RFIs/RFCs
• Make written recommendations to the COR
• Compute time extensions
• Assist in preparing change order documents
• Make construction-minded determinations of practicability and meeting contract requirements
• Request for equitable adjustment and claims
• Make technical interpretations of drawings/specifications
• Review Contractor punch lists
