To excel as a Senior Civil Engineer at Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, you will need a robust combination of education, experience, and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is essential, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering and project management, preferably within the AEC consulting industry. Attaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license in a U.S. state is important, with the expectation to secure licensure in North Dakota promptly. You should be a disciplined self-starter, capable of energizing and motivating a diverse team while building strong, lasting client relationships. Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite will be vital for effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines.
