Senior Civil Designer - 100% Remote

About the position

We are actively seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. This role involves using CAD software to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and typical construction methods for pipeline routing and compressor/metering station projects. You will collaborate with mappers, engineers, and project managers while leveraging Excel tables to enhance drawings and ensure precision in civil design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, and permit drawings using CAD software.
• Support mappers, engineers, and project managers with design tasks.
• Utilize Excel tables to integrate engineering information into drawings.
• Conduct self-checks on drawings for quality assurance before peer review.
• Mentor other civil designers and mappers as needed.
• Perform QA/QC of work produced by fellow designers and drafters.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil 3D, and CAD software.
• Experience in civil survey and drafting, grading, and drainage design.
• Knowledge of pipeline routing, GIS, and construction methods.
• At least 1+ years of Civil 3D experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Map, GIS software, and Microsoft Office (preferred).
• Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
