About The Position
The Senior Transportation Planner (STP) position is responsible for the development of multi-year planning process for plans and policies affecting the uses of the transportation system, transport operations, land use, travel corridors, transit demands, multi-modal systems planning, environmental regulatory requirements, other transportation programs, and mobility and safety of overall transport operations. The Senior Transportation Planner will analyze problems, issues, proposals, and development alternatives, options or plans in coordination of the multi-year Capital Improvement Plan, local and regional project plans, safety plans and corridor specific plans. This position oversees transportation planning for a highly complex transportation system, including urban and regional land use planning. The salary range for this position is $84,000.00- $113,400.00 per hour with a hiring range of $84,000.00 - $98,700.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
