About The Position

Senior Child Development Teacher The Teacher works as a team member to provide a safe and secure environment to enhance a child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development as part of our Texas Rising Star. The Teacher is responsible for co-teaching with other educators in the center, organizing and planning a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on center's philosophy and Texas Rising Star guidelines. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies and Human Development
• Background Check Clearance by the TX Department of Social Services is required for this position.
• No convictions related to child abuse, offenses against persons, sexual offenses, child neglect, felony offenses involving controlled substances, or any other offenses bearing substantial relation to the qualifications, functions of duties of an employee of a child care facility
• 2 years of experience teaching in a licensed childcare facility
