Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. We are looking to hire a Senior certified boiler inspector to provide inspection support services of Navy, Marine, Army, USCG, MARAD, and MSC boilers and unfired pressure vessels (UPVs). The Certified Boiler Inspector will: Perform troubleshooting efforts for steam propulsion plant, auxiliary plant, steam catapult and reboiler systems Develop, revise and review Navy standard drawings, NAVSEA drawings and Technical Manuals Participate in technical evaluation of steam systems including boilers, auxiliaries, catapults and reboilers Evaluate technical information received from the Fleet (Fleet messages, advisories, etc.). Provide engineering support for design, repair, installation, modification, maintenance, and operation of systems. Support Technical Manual Deficiency Evaluation Reports (TMDERs) adjudication of Steam Systems TMs to include Repair & Overhaul (R&O) Manual, SGPI Manual, LHD 1 Class Boiler Manual, LHD 1 Class EABC and Auxiliaries Manuals, CVN Catapult Systems Manual & Reboiler Manuals. This is a growing program with opportunity for growth and advancement. While the opportunity for hybrid work is available candidates need to be local to attend meetings, complete in office as required. Also this is a long term contract.
