About The Position

The Floating Senior Center Assistant will primarily oversee meal service at various senior centers throughout Cambria County each week. The overall responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receive meals and perform required tasks in a sanitary and appealing manner Assist with coordination and serving of daily congregate and HDM meals Clean and maintain kitchen area daily Report accurate lunch counts to supervisor Following through with directives assigned by Supervisor or superior management Conduct self in a professional manner in the community and surrounding areas Fill in for supervisor duties in his/her absence Assist in presenting center to community in a clean, organized and location of excellence daily

Requirements

Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver’s License
Ability to follow directions and follow through in a timely manner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to multi-task and prioritize
Exhibits honest, compassionate and hard-working ethics
Kitchen experience and fondness of working with elderly
Must pass background check
