Canyon Vista Medical Center was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital on what was then the eastern edge of Sierra Vista. Growth and advancing technology dictated building our new 177,000 square foot hospital at 5700 E Hwy 90 completed in 2015. The Senior Cath Lab Technician performs a wide range of advanced imaging and interventional procedures in accordance with professional standards and departmental guidelines within an acute hospital setting. This role supports physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, ensures the safe operation of imaging equipment, maintains high-quality imaging results, and monitors patient status throughout procedures. The Senior Cath Lab Technician also oversees supply management, assists with scheduling and workflow coordination, provides education and in‑service support for Cath Lab staff, and serves as the primary preceptor for new technicians. This position requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Requirements

  • Applicants should be licensed by the state as a radiation operator.
  • State Radiation Operators License/Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT - Required
  • BLS
  • ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • One (1) year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required

Nice To Haves

  • Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiac Interventional (CI) Registry - preferred
