Requirements

  • 12+ years in Purchasing, Planning, Development or Quality Assurance functions, with significant experience in purchasing, product development, and quality management working in a multinational environment.
  • Strong people leadership experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the supply market and related service categories.
  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of negotiation techniques.
  • Good command of process engineering.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Effective time management.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Design, implement and monitor procurement strategies to ensure supply security, meet financial and budget objectives and mid to long term category developments.
  • Technical Expertise: Use your knowledge of direct materials and procurement processes to evaluate supply markets and select the best suppliers.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Lead negotiations and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price and service.
  • Quality & Compliance: Oversee the selection and quality of materials, ensure compliance with PMI and Regulatory standards.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement programs to streamline products and processes to realize productivity by challenging status quo.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Review and approve contracts and price lists to ensure accurate documentation and supplier performance measurement.
  • Leadership: Guide and motivate decentralized procurement team members and stakeholders to foster growth and development.
