Performs any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain necessary data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience in accounting or related field
• Intermediate experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in Oracle
• Experience with reviewing and verifying information from multiple sources
• Experience in preparing and processing journal entries
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interface with various levels of management, along with excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's in accounting or finance preferred

Responsibilities

• Matching Cash Settlements to GL and bank record details (Credit Card Clearing)
• Matching Cash Settlements to GL and bank record details (E-commerce Sales Clearing)
• Performing Reconciliations of Credit Card and E-commerce Clearing accounts
• Creating and posting journal entries necessary to maintain Clearing Accounts
• Utilizes various accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
• Debits, credits, and totals accounts on spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Compiles statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to daily settlements
• Accesses financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
