Corteva Agriscience has an opportunity available for a Senior Cash Flow Accountant – Corporate Accounting. The Senior Accountant position oversees the final consolidated Corteva Cash Flow Statement. On a quarterly basis, this position prepares support for the 10-Q as well as various reports used by Senior Leadership. This is a highly visible position and will interact with the Corporate Controller, External Reporting Group, Accounting Policy, Treasury/Credit, Internal Audit and PwC on a routine basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Position requires strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task and proficiency in the use of systems, including Analysis for Office BPC, SAP and Windows Office.
  • Candidate must be self-managed and self-motivated as well as effectively organize time and efforts to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility with work schedule, as nights/weekends are needed during quarter-end closing.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results oriented

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the final consolidated Corteva Cash Flow Statement, including discontinued operations accounting.
  • Prepare various quarterly reports used by Senior Leadership.
  • Operate monthly accounting close process and prepare cash flow accounting entries and cash flow walkacross file.
  • Analyze cash flow impacts and lead quarterly meetings with Finance Leadership to review results.
  • Provides accounting and financial reporting guidance to support business, functional and corporate needs.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with company standards and government regulations.
  • Lead & drive continuous improvement in the consolidation process.
  • Assist with other consolidation processes and posting of consolidation entries.
