This position will advise students across all disciplines and is uniquely responsible for developing expertise in specific career community/industry areas (Engineering). The Assistant Director will, create/curate content and develop and deliver programs related to the Engineering career community they will manage. Career Specialist, Sr. (Assistant Director) in the Career Center is responsible for the development and delivery of training, content, resources, and events with an emphasis on their industry/sector portfolio (Engineering), and to effectively utilize tools/resources to educate, empower and support students in their intentional professional development. They also contribute to the Center’s development of experiential learning initiatives for students. Assistant Directors are expected to think creatively about the professional development and educational experience of students and pilot creative approaches that serve constituents any time, any place, creating an effective on-demand experience.
