About The Position

We’re working with a well-established consumer products manufacturer in Anderson, SC to hire a Senior Estimator supporting large-scale manufacturing and site capital projects. This role prepares detailed cost estimates for projects ranging from $100K to $500M , spanning manufacturing, infrastructure, and packaging operations. The company operates two onsite plants —manufacturing and printing/packaging—with the packaging facility currently undergoing a major expansion. With 1,000+ employees , a strong culture, and ongoing investment, this is a high-visibility role with long-term growth potential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred)
• Extensive estimating experience in manufacturing construction environments
• Strong background supporting or managing large capital projects
• Manufacturing experience in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing required
• Solid understanding of construction principles, bid processes, and cost controls
• Proficiency with estimating, takeoff, and modeling software

Nice To Haves

• Paper, printing, or packaging experience preferred , but not required
• Prior estimating experience with a Construction Manager or General Contractor highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for manufacturing and site capital projects
• Support large-scale expansions, renovations, and new equipment installations
• Develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and bid-level estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Perform material and labor takeoffs using estimating and modeling software
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams
• Support contractor selection, bid analysis, and cost control efforts
