About The Position

Summer @ Latin staff are the best in the business at helping kids build new friendships, inspiring their curiosity, and extending their learning beyond the classroom while having a legendary time doing it. There is no more fun and exciting way to grow as a leader and professional than working with Summer @ Latin. Our Senior Camp Counselor is a group leader, primarily responsible for the safety of campers and planning of daily camp structure. 8 weeks starting June 8th through July 31st Responsible for the positive growth of campers Leads a group of 8-20 campers. Assists with swimming lessons, other specialty area instruction and lunch service Works closely with a Counselor to structure and facilitate activities, supervise campers and maintain group schedule. Communicates daily with parents and caregivers. Reports to Age Group Coordinator (AGC). Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Applicants should be 21 years of age and meet qualification requirements.
  • Have experience as a youth leader who enjoys teaching through exploration.
  • He/she/they must have experience working with children and youth, preferably in a group setting.
  • Should be creative, take initiative, love to problem-solve, and come prepared to provide an excellent summer experience for children.
