The Taiwan Surveillance Radar Program (SRP) software team is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work onsite in our Woburn facility. The Missile Defense Radar Software Department's mission is to provide world class Missile Defense and Surveillance Radar Software to be used in radar systems deployed on land and sea. Our software teams employ Agile Scrum and DevSecOps processes to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers. We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon a workforce whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms. The candidate will be responsible for the architectural design, application design, implementation and sustainment of integrated radar data processing and display applications.

  • Work within an agile team environment to design, develop, integrate, deploy and sustain radar data processing applications written in C/C++.
  • Determine root causes of failures, design and implement solutions that meet requirements.
  • Help improve code quality by supporting software integration, verification and performing code reviews.
  • Analyze difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule and on budget.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with design, development, testing and integration of complex systems using C/C++.
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. government issued Interim Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Exposure to Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile or SAFe.
  • Experience with ClearCase, Git or other Configuration Management Systems.
  • Experience with radar data processing.
  • Experience in display development in Java and/or X-Motif.
  • Experience with MATLAB.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, Coverity and/or other agile and DevOps tools.
  • Experience with real-time, multi-threaded systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
