Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior C/C++ Developer. This position falls under our GTCO line of business and will be based out of our Peachtree Corners, GA office. This hands-on role involves technical design, development, and delivery of software applications. The right candidate will be able to understand architectural requirements and recommend optimizations across environments. You will report directly to the Director IT Architecture. As a Senior C/C++ Developer you will be expected to work from our Peachtree Corners, GA office.   • Providing technical advice on complex programming challenges.
  • Demonstrating expertise in programming in C/C++.
  • Applying experience in working with POSIX message queues and multithreaded applications.
  • Utilizing knowledge of Unix shell scripting and Perl.
  • Collaborating with relevant users and development managers to define requirements for software releases.
  • Writing technical design specifications for the relevant software.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting new as well as existing code.
  • Working closely with QA and Operations staff to ensure smooth roll-out of new releases.
  • Providing production support for daily, weekly, and monthly production processes.
  • Assisting support and project personnel in resolving moderately complex program problems.
  • Collaborating with clients and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within assigned areas.
  • Developing test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs.
  • Conducting quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree and Ten (10) + years' experience in Information Technology, including minimum five (5) years' experience in hands on C/C++ programming preferably on POS systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles, which can be confirmed by prior experience.
  • Experience utilizing Agile SCRUM development process.
  • Ability to interact well with user base, development teams and other technical teams.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues/problems in aggressive timeframes.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle high pressure situations with minimum direction.
  • Team player, with proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries is plus.
