Position Overview The Senior C# Backend Software Engineer will focus on developing information technology-enabled business solutions that are both scalable and reliable. The Senior Software Engineer will perform and execute all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing while working in a highly collaborative team environment. Join our team as a Senior C# Backend Software Engineer, where you’ll help lead initiatives for continuous improvement, mentor junior engineers, and drive strategies that enhance overall team performance.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems using best practices and industry standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Work closely with product management, quality assurance, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Participate in team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to resolve problems.
  • Continuously improve software performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve defects.
  • Ensure that software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software engineering.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and sharing knowledge.
  • 5+ years software development experience.
  • Must have C# & .Net development experience.
  • SQL: Stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and views.
  • AI – Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI platform.
  • Must have experience and understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Backend: JavaScript, Java, Python or Spring experience helpful.
  • Front end: Blazor, Angular, or React experience helpful.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL, WCF, Azure/AWS experience a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications in software development or related fields are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).

  • Must have experience and understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
