About The Position

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our Process & Chemicals business. This opportunity is Hybrid. Wood is currently seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Greenville, SC. The role will be responsible for the execution of specific aspects of supply chain management including expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting of major procurement packages/subcontracts. They will also be responsible for the supervision and guidance of directly reporting supply chain specialists/associates. This position requires a clear understanding of the client’s head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and knowledge of how these are integrated into project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions. Has working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, interfaces with Wood legal/commercial experts and can under guidance initiate/discuss adaptations to reach a robust commercial agreement. Regularly reports progress of all procurement activities for which they are responsible. Ensures direct reports regularly update reports/systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project management.
