About The Position

Waukesha County’s Department of Administration is recruiting for a Senior Buyer (may underfill as Buyer). This position plays a key role in supporting the mission of our division by managing key vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance. Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field.
• Two years of work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector.
• Six years of progressively responsible work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification is desirable.
