As a Senior Buyer –ACS Fragrance, HBA, Optical, and Seasonal, you will own the strategy and execution for alternatively sourced products that drive growth across multiple merchandise categories. You’ll identify market opportunities, build high-impact supplier partnerships, and deliver trend-right, high-quality items to our members. This role is about more than buying product. It’s about influencing and driving category strategy, strengthening competitive positioning, and delivering measurable business results that improve member value. You’ll work cross-functionally with merchandising partners to unlock new buying opportunities when direct brand relationships aren’t available, ensuring we continue to deliver style, quality, and affordability at scale. This position is located in Bentonville, AR, and relocation to the area is required. About the team: Our team drives alternative sourcing strategies across Apparel, Home, Fragrance, Beauty, Optical, and Seasonal categories. We focus on procuring high-quality, trend-aligned products when direct brand partnerships are unavailable. By managing supplier relationships, category plans, and pricing strategies, the team supports Walmart’s mission to help members save money and live better. Collaborating cross-functionally, the team ensures effective execution of business plans and maintains strong vendor partnerships. This role requires expertise in vendor management, category management, supplier relationship management, price negotiation, budgeting, and merchandising to deliver value and meet customer needs efficiently.
