JOB SUMMARY
The Buyer will collaborate directly with the Vice President of Sales and top-level Management to source product and manage inventory levels across multiple product categories.

Requirements

• 4+ Years of supply chain, purchasing and/or inventory management experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; can interact with a variety of coworkers and business stakeholders, establishing positive professional relationships
• Demonstrated team player with an initiative to win
• Strong organizational skills; excellent attention to detail
• Must possess working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate inventory levels for to meet customer demands through safety stock, min/max, historical, as well as other directed criteria.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and drive cost savings programs to achieve the best cost, quality, and delivery timelines
• Head up onboarding new suppliers and develop new relationships across multiple product categories
• Manage regular supplier invoice resolution, including interfacing with the warehouse, accounts payable, and suppliers
• Formulate sourcing strategies to support short-term and long-term operational requirements.
• Lead and support purchasing team
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
