Job Purpose and ImpactThe DT&D Senior Software Sourcing Specialist (IT Sr. Buyer) will be part of the Cargill Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Function’s global Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) sourcing team. Specific responsibilities include cross-regional sourcing activities such as leading RFPs and negotiating master agreements, amendments, and renewals with IT software/cloud suppliers. Responsibilities also include ongoing contract and pipeline management. In this role, you will strategically manage global stakeholders and key supplier relationships, in alignment with the category strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience, including direct experience negotiating US-based IT Software and/or Cloud contracts

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts, savings pipeline and stakeholders for assigned portfolio.
  • Execute highly complex sourcing events.
  • Negotiate and interpret complex software and cloud agreements, including related services agreements.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data to resolve feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to resolve factors that affect prices and the lowest cost, consistent with quality, reliability and ability to meet required schedules.
  • Drive the implementation of global sourcing decisions.
  • Lead key global supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Collaborate with Category Leads and other team members as appropriate during project execution.
