About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a global shipping software development team with the United States Postal Service. This is a long-term position located in Washington, D.C. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will ensure seamless global shipping services for international customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with difficult system configurations including database, batch, web-based and API
• Working knowledge of complex application system development and/or information technology tools, techniques, concepts, and software applicable to the site supported
• Strong critical thinking skills to link business needs to system impacts
• Eligible for USPS Sensitive Clearance

Responsibilities

• Assist the project leader in leading analyst/programmers in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems
• Analyze and evaluate complex data processing systems, both current and proposed, translating business area customer information system requirements into detailed system/program requirements
• Provide alternatives, recommendations, and assistance to the project leader involved in the development, integration, and installation of application systems
• Act as a Scrum Master to lead a team through a project and daily scrums using hybrid project management techniques
