About The Position

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will lead and scale the global implementation of advanced planning software across a diverse network of manufacturing, distribution, and commercial sites. This role blends deep business process expertise (planning, inventory, S&OP, IBP, supply chain execution) with technical acumen (data integration, configuration, testing) to deliver measurable improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, service levels, and working capital. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, owing end-to-end discovery, requirements, solution design, data readiness, configuration, testing, deployment, and support—while enabling governance and continuous improvement at scale. This position will require 30-40% travel to global sites and require flexible scheduling to support global times zones.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Business Systems Analysis, Supply Chain Planning, or Operations
  • Domain expertise: Demand & supply planning, inventory optimization, S&OP/IBP, network planning, service-level management.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with configuration and data structures.
  • Data modeling and integration with SAP SQL/Power BI/Tableau (or similar) for analysis and reporting.
  • Soft skills: Exceptional facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership across cultures and time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years implementing or optimizing Tools Group software (or equivalent advanced planning systems)
  • Prior global rollout experience across multi-site, multi-country manufacturing and distribution networks.
  • Experience with inventory segmentation, service-level optimization, and policy tuning in advanced planning systems.
  • Exposure to S&OP/IBP process design and governance.
  • Knowledge of data governance, API-based integrations, and cloud architecture.
  • Lean/6σ, APICS/ASCM (CPIM/CSCP), or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Governance
  • Global rollout strategy: Define and maintain a multi-wave implementation roadmap for advanced planning software (regions, sites, business units) aligned to business priorities and readiness.
  • Standards & templates: Create global design standards, playbooks, test scripts, SOPs, training, and change-management toolkits.
  • Data governance: Establish data quality KPIs, stewardship roles, and ongoing monitoring (master data, hierarchy, calendars, lead times, BOMs, routings, policies).
  • Stakeholder alignment: Facilitate decision-making across Operations, Planning, Commercial, Finance, and IT.
  • Process & Requirements
  • Process discovery & fit gap: Map current/future state planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, S&OP/IBP).
  • Requirements management: Elicit, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements; manage traceability from business outcomes to solution features.
  • Policy design: Define inventory policies (service targets, safety stock, reorder points), segmentation strategies, and planning calendars consistent with planning software capabilities.
  • Solution Design & Configuration
  • Core configuration: Translate requirements into software configurations (models, parameters, constraints, policies, workflows) with clear rationale and testability.
  • Data integration: Partner with IT on data pipelines from SAP/CRF/Others, ensuring robust mapping, validation, and controls.
  • Analytics & reporting: Design dashboards and reports for forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns, and planner productivity; ensure self-service capabilities.
  • Delivery & Quality Assurance
  • Testing: Plan and execute UAT, performance tests; create test scripts and acceptance criteria; manage defects to resolution.
  • Cutover: Orchestrate cutover plans, contingency pathways, and post-go-live support; stabilize operations and transition to local support models.
  • Change management & training: Build communication plans, role-based training, and super-user networks; drive adoption and behavioral change across sites.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Performance tuning: Monitor KPIs, diagnose variances, and iterate parameters/policies.
  • Scale & reuse: Harvest lessons learned, reusable components, and accelerators to shorten subsequent waves.
  • Risk management: Identify systemic risks (data, process, org, tech) and maintain mitigation plans.
