About The Position

Boston Scientific is embarking on a transformational journey to redefine how we work across the enterprise. The Business Process Lead will be responsible for designing and sustaining the business across workstream launches that will shape the company for years to come. This role is pivotal in building, documenting, and maintaining governance, compliance, and continuous improvement frameworks across critical platforms — including Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM), Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), and Workforce Planning. By partnering with Finance, PMO, IT, HR, and divisional representatives, this leader will ensure operational excellence and enable Boston Scientific to deliver innovation at scale. This is not just a process role, it’s a future-shaping leadership opportunity. The Business Process Lead will partner across the organization to ensure that the systems and processes we build today will enable innovation, agility, and excellence for years to come. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our locals office at least three days per week. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business , Finance, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 + years ’ experience in Business Process Management, Operational Excellence, or Enterprise Transformation.
  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives across multiple functions .
  • Ability to travel up to 10% travel to BSC sites

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ex perience with business process documentation , Lean and / or Six Sigma methodologies , change management , and enterprise governance ; formal training in process improvement
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions without direct authority.
  • Advanced degree

Responsibilities

  • Governance & Compliance Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across interconnected systems .
  • Develop, maintain , and enhance process documentation to ensure clarity, adoption, and sustainability .
  • Operational Excellence Document as is and to be business process as it intersects with technology
  • Collaborate with technical and business team s to identify relationships between business processes , integration s, and technical design.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization across systems such as EPM, PPM, and Workforce Planning that are included in each workstream launch .
  • L ead initiatives to improve process efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Build strong, collaborative relationships with Finance, PMOs, IT, and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner with training and change management lead s to build training materials and support change management to drive adoption and cultural change .
  • Risk Management Anticipate technical and operational risks; develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve complex issues by applying innovative solutions beyond existing methodologies.
  • Leadership & Development Lead governance meetings and provide guidance to project and portfolio leaders .
  • Serve as a thought leader, inspiring teams to new ways of working and continuous improvement .
  • A dept at identifying program/ project risks and opportunities .
  • Mentor and coach program team members on business process essentials
