About The Position
The Monetization and Business Planning (M+BP) team is responsible for the monetization strategy, pricing, and packaging for the multi-billion-dollar Microsoft Cloud products portfolio. To deliver on this broad charter, we've built a center of excellence with an industry-leading reputation for strategic thought leadership. This Senior Business Planner role is within the Modern Work Business Planning team which is responsible for the monetization of the Microsoft 365 family of products that includes productivity applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and many more. While there is substantial untapped Target Addressable Market in the core productivity space, the AI-first productivity solution space is even more fragmented and nascent. This role is a unique opportunity to develop the monetization strategy to help drive the core Microsoft 365 business while also defining the future of our M365 Copilot and AI-first offers for our Government, Non-Profit and Public Sector sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with business leadership & acumen, cross-group collaboration, analytical skills, and written and oral communication skills. This person in this role thinks strategically, moves with urgency and has a track record of driving growth through business model innovation.
