About The Position

The Senior Business Operations Specialist will support projects set by the enterprise strategic plan in the areas of growth, service excellence, and deepening AAA Member value. This role involves facilitating cross-functional alignment and collaboration to drive the implementation of high-impact business improvements. The specialist will prepare operational assessments based on research and field evaluations, including competitor evaluations, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization. Additionally, the role supports the development of future state roadmaps and business cases that will automate key business functions to deliver quicker, intuitive, and frictionless Member experiences. The specialist will document and map processes while making recommendations on improvements, proactively assist in ideating, prototyping, and scaling solutions to support business growth, optimization, and transformation, and drive and monitor the successful execution of approved strategic initiatives. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business, operations, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google suite and experience with analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Highly developed critical thinker with a proven ability to synthesize research, data, and industry trends to provide solutions
  • Demonstrated self-starter with an innovative and creative mindset and a bias for action
  • Ability to understand and follow complex instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates cross-functional alignment and collaboration to drive the implementation of high-impact business improvements.

  • Documents and maps processes while making recommendations on improvements.
  • Proactively assists in ideating, prototyping, and scaling solutions to support business growth, optimization, and transformation, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Drives and monitors the successful execution of approved strategic initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
