About The Position

The Sr. Business Manager – Strategic Partnerships will own and grow Framework’s most critical relationships with leading silicon providers, including AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, Micron, Sandisk, Microsoft, Canonical and other silicon, software, OTS partnerships. This role is central in securing roadmap alignment, early technical engagement, and strong business terms to ensure Framework has access to the right technology at the right time. This is a highly cross-functional position, working closely with Engineering, Product, and Executive teams to bring supplier insights into product decisions and strategy. You’ll be the business owner of these partnerships, leading negotiations, roadmap reviews, and strategic alignment with executives at our silicon partners. This is a remote position open to anywhere within the US, with a preference for the San Francisco Bay Area. We have an office in San Francisco where we meet one day a week for local team members.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Business Development, Silicon Partner Management, or Supplier Management at an OEM, ODM, or technology company.
  • Demonstrated experience managing AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, Micron, Sandisk, Microsoft, Canonical or equivalent strategic silicon, software and OTS accounts.
  • Strong record of negotiating complex, multi-year partnerships.
  • Technical and business acumen to bridge product roadmaps with partner technologies.
  • Executive presence and excellent communication skills to engage at the highest levels.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Executive teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Framework’s primary business lead for CPU, APU, GPU, memory, and storage suppliers.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with silicon partners and other critical technology providers.
  • Lead joint business reviews, strategic roadmap discussions, and long-term partnership planning.
  • Drive early engagement with suppliers on new architectures, platforms, and enabling technologies.
  • Secure early samples, engineering enablement, and business model support.
  • Negotiate allocation, pricing, investment, and co-marketing opportunities to maximize mutual value.
  • Serve as the internal voice of silicon partners—educating Product, Engineering, and Executive teams on roadmap insights and trends.
  • Act as an escalation point for challenges, driving resolutions with partners at executive levels.
  • Influence product decisions by aligning supplier technologies with Framework’s roadmap.
  • Travel domestically and occasionally abroad for key partner meetings, business reviews, and industry events.
