About The Position

As a Senior Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. The recently formed Business Analysis team within the ESM organization will drive the strategy, insights and analytics, while transforming talent, influencing technology investments, assessing risk, and growing diverse supplier pools. You'll team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment (working closely with experts in sourcing and operations) that encourages you to take on a critical leadership role, promote continuous learning, and reward innovation. In this role, you'll help shape the strategic direction of ESM, collaborate closely with Data and Financial Analyst teams, and work with key stakeholders across the organization to help achieve our top priorities. You'll also have the opportunity to envision and create the first Business Analysis function within the ESM organization and coach others to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis.
• At least 1 year of experience in people management.
• At least 1 year of experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.

• Strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon.
• Manage and develop a team of analysts.
• Coaching and mentoring associates throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
• Lead product level modeling/analytics.
• Lead direct to consumer marketing efforts for select products.
• Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences.
• Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior.
• Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent.
• Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
• Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others.
