About The Position

The job involves a lead role in planning and executing projects to collect and analyze medium-to-large scale structured and unstructured data. The position requires developing reports and dashboards that identify patterns and provide meaningful insights to company stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing data by transforming it into usable formats, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and troubleshooting dashboards and reports to resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders is essential to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. The role also involves designing, building, and deploying Tableau dashboards to answer business questions and identify emerging trends in the data. Additionally, the position requires translating business needs into technical specifications and ensuring proper documentation and audit reports for finalized deliverables. Leading business intelligence development projects and managing the lifecycle of report generation is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Information Technology with three years of experience in a Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Developer, Business Data Analyst, or Computer Systems Analyst position.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 5 years of the same qualifying experience.
• Three years of experience developing data reporting using Tableau and incorporating analytics in visualizations.
• Three years of experience managing and analyzing medium to large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Three years of experience employing Microsoft Azure and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Perform a lead role in planning and executing projects to collect and analyze medium-to-large scale structured and unstructured data.
• Develop reports and dashboards that identify patterns and provide meaningful insights to company stakeholders.
• Prepare data by transforming it into usable formats, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot dashboards and reports to resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy Tableau dashboards to answer business questions and identify emerging trends.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and meet business requirements and timelines for report deliverables.
• Design, write, and optimize custom SQL queries to create reporting tables.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit reports for finalized report deliverables.
• Lead business intelligence development projects and manage the lifecycle of report generation.
• Employ knowledge of Python, SQL, and relational databases to draft testable code and migrate to production.
• Provide training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports.
• Monitor server activity and usage statistics to identify performance issues and propose enhancements.
• Create and manage User Groups, Workbooks, and Projects on the company’s Tableau Server.
• Implement Tableau mobile dashboards using the Tableau mobile application.
