The Business Intelligence (BI) Senior Report Developer is responsible for providing timely and accurate data to internal as well as external customers. Responsibilities include ensuring projects contain information required to create in-depth analytics that contribute towards informed decisions regarding care and fiscally responsible management of all populations of the organization it serves. Designs and processes projects related to their area of expertise; they may also be required to perform in other areas as deemed necessary. Responsibilities also include managing data requests for large projects as needed with in-depth knowledge of reporting tools to insure data integrity. Possesses and maintains a broad knowledge of information technology (IT) systems and applications that support Business Intelligence functions. Additionally, possesses and maintains a general knowledge of all reports that are provided to the organization not only within the department, but from specific IT applications as well. Creates and analyzes reports created using various reporting mechanisms. Keeps leadership advised of outstanding issues. Uses analytical skill and experiences to investigate/resolve and/or escalate support issues. Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are necessary. Effective time management. Has the ability to maintain and keep clearly defined documentation of projects and requests.
