This role is Full-time and On-site (San Mateo, CA) Luminary Cloud is a Series B startup (backed by Sutter Hill Ventures, N47, and Nvidia’s NVentures) at the intersection of AI and advanced engineering / design. You'll work directly with companies that are designing tomorrow's breakthrough products, helping them accelerate their innovation cycles and achieve better designs. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll join a talented team of professionals who are passionate about redefining what's possible in computational engineering and physics AI. This role is ideal for self-starters who own their business, thrive in dynamic environments, and can translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value. This is not an entry level position. As a Senior Business Development Representative at Luminary Cloud, you’ll conduct omnichannel cold outreach to generate net-new introductory sales calls and opportunities. You’ll often be the first point of contact for prospects. Successful BDRs are persistent in outreach/follow-up, highlight pain points, clearly communicate Luminary’s value, and create a customer-centric buying experience. BDRs will also have freedom to generate opportunities from a wide range of accounts, ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 companies.
