Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business development or sales within cross-border payments, FX, or financial services
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment
  • Experience navigating complex financial institution buying processes including compliance, risk, treasury, and operations teams
  • Deep understanding of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global payments and financial compliance
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker capable of identifying opportunities and delivering innovative solutions
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients across financial institutions, money service businesses, fintechs, and other regulated entities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor on FX and cross-border payment strategies
  • Deliver consultative solutions including FX hedging strategies, spot and forward contracts, and payment automation tools
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to position the organization as a thought leader
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices in business development
