About The Position
The Senior Business Data Analyst will monitor and review team-generated reports for accuracy and timely delivery. The role involves defining and developing user-friendly reports and graphics that integrate and convey complex data/information, as well as maintaining a data catalog to provide key data sources to internal and external stakeholders. The analyst will conduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced statistical methods, and define, develop, and deploy data, analytics, and reporting products and services using various BI tools and data platforms, leveraging finance domain experience. Responsibilities also include conducting data validation, statistical analyses, and data mapping, identifying key business questions, solving ambiguous problems, defining performance metrics, and developing insights by analyzing the data. The analyst will effectively convey complex business insights to high-level stakeholders, including the CEO and CFO, via reporting deliverables. Additionally, the role requires testing and using new technologies and regularly presenting feedback and suggestions to stakeholders. The analyst will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead projects from a high level, such as creating a project master timeline, designing different stages of the project, and coordinating efforts across teams. Up to 40% telecommuting is permitted.
