About The Position

The Senior Business Consultant serves as an advisor, consultative leader, and partner between the North American Commercial Banking business/group and Technology & Operations to define and document technology roadmaps for Emerging Middle Market / Middle Market. The role involves investigating and identifying strategies to optimize business operations and services, informing business decisions, and defining business requirements to inform technology build and operations. This includes sourcing and analyzing relevant data, reviewing and documenting business processes, and collaborating with business stakeholders. The consultant will direct, manage, and coordinate team members, including other project managers, business and technology resources, user groups, internal and external consultants and contractors, as well as vendors and external regulatory organizations. The position provides thought leadership in the development of new ideas, processes, and emerging technology, and offers strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor. The consultant will also lead change management programs, facilitate discussions, and ensure that business needs align with technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Typically, between 7 - 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Experience with lending applications (nCino / LoanIQ/ AFS) would be an asset.
  • Foundational level of proficiency in Agile Delivery and Development, Data analysis, and Learning Agility.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Process improvement and optimization, Business architecture frameworks, and Stakeholder Analysis and Management.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in knowledge of Emerging Middle Market / Middle Market and Commercial Lending expertise.
