This role serves as the single point of accountability for business deposit relationships and treasury services, ensuring operational integrity, regulatory compliance and consistent high quality member experience. The Senior Business Banking Officer owns all business deposit onboarding, servicing, and treasury management products from initial referral through ongoing relationship support. This role is responsible for business account openings, digital and treasury product administration, operational controls, and frontline support for complex business service needs. The position partners closely with Business Lending, Fraud, BSA, Digital, and branch, Call Center, and Virtual teams to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing management of business banking services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Banking Operations, preferably with a focus in Business Banking.
Technologically savvy, with a strong interest in utilizing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and member experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the sole owner of all business account openings sourced from branches and the call center
Verify and validate entity documentation for LLCs, corporations, sole proprietors, and nonprofits
Ensure compliance with CIP, CDD, and Beneficial Ownership requirements
Maintain accuracy of business profiles across core, digital, and ancillary systems
Manage business account changes, maintenance, and closures
Administer business online and mobile banking enrollment and support
Oversee ACH origination, including exposure limits, approvals, and ongoing monitoring
Coordinate merchant services onboarding and vendor relationships
Support domestic wire services
Administer Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), bill pay, positive pay, dual controls, and related treasury tools
Partner with Fraud and BSA teams to manage risk and controls
Provide servicing support for existing business members
Act as escalation point for complex business deposit and treasury issues
Support business members pre- and post-loan with deposit and treasury needs
Coordinate pricing exceptions and service adjustments with Business Banking leadership
Perform UAT testing for new and enhanced business deposit and treasury products
Participate in project meetings related to core, digital platforms, and vendors
Draft and maintain procedures, workflows, and internal controls
Provide frontline training, guidance, and job aids related to business services
Ensure adherence to applicable regulations including Reg E and E-Sign where applicable
Support BSA/AML exams, audits, and regulatory reviews related to business accounts
Maintain audit trails and documentation for account activity and changes
Support periodic reviews of business deposit and treasury relationships
Conduct treasury product risk assessments
Manage vendor coordination for treasury related services
Support development and maintenance of business pricing matrices for deposits and services
Serve as frontline escalation point for business service inquiries
Perform additional duties as assigned by Business Banking leadership
