About The Position

The Business Analytics Lead Associate role will drive credit- and fraud-risk effectiveness by building new reporting, analyzing trends, and partnering heavily with the Fraud team to design efficient pathways for escalation, relationship exit, and other appropriate actions. Establish and standardize processes, manage a team of analysts, and lead projects end-to-end to deliver measurable outcomes. Additional responsibilities will include development and maintenance of appropriate approval guidelines for Key Consumer Deposit Products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Strategic Thinking : Applying long-term, big-picture thinking to anticipate market shifts, identify opportunities, and align product initiatives with business strategy.
  • Problem Solving : Analyzing complex challenges and developing effective, data-driven solutions that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Critical Thinking : Applying logical reasoning and analytical skills to evaluate product performance, assess trade-offs, and support sound decision-making.
  • Storytelling : Communicating product vision, strategy, and value propositions clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams
  • Acute attention to detail, ability to Multi-task, and Time-Management skills are a must
  • Self-sufficient, independent starter willing to take on any task assigned with minimal supervision and provide the required deliverables within the determined timeframe
  • Experience leading/managing, delivering cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills (process mapping, requirements).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor fraud activity, losses, and operational performance.
  • Perform trend and root-cause analysis to surface emerging risks and inform decisions.
  • Establish and document new processes for escalation, exit, and remediation, aligned with policy and compliance.
  • Manage, coach, and quality-control a team of analysts; set priorities and performance expectations.
  • Build and execute project plans (scope, milestones, resources), coordinating cross-functionally with Fraud, Risk, Operations, Legal, and Product.
  • Track KPIs and implement continuous improvements based on post-implementation reviews.
  • Conducts post-mortems on large losses and provides an executive summary
  • Verifies adherence to stated policies, regulatory requirements, and alignment between source documentation and the systems of record.
  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
