About The Position
The Senior Business Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning business operations with the credit union's mission and goals. This position is responsible for strategy and planning, conducting thorough analyses, and gathering, organizing, and reviewing data to identify both internal and external strategic issues and opportunities that affect the growth and profitability of the organization. The Senior Business Analyst will work under minimal supervision, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of business needs and objectives to support projects that significantly impact the achievement of operational goals. This role requires an advanced skill set and proficiency with various procedures and analysis techniques, ensuring that the analyst can effectively contribute to the organization's strategic initiatives. In this role, the Senior Business Analyst will evaluate business data and conduct analyses and reporting to identify challenges and opportunities. They will provide solutions to complex business problems using quantitative analysis methodologies, performing data, cost and benefit, and process measurement analyses. The analyst will partner across teams to develop advanced statistical models and forecasting techniques that predict future business performance, thereby informing strategic decision-making. Building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders is essential, as the analyst will support the implementation of business solutions while adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units while maintaining compatibility with the organization's strategic goals.
