Job Description:Job DescriptionThe Health & Welfare Implementation Senior Benefits Analyst (BA) will utilize their consulting, analysis, and domain skills to provide the best outcomes for our client, their participants and Fidelity.The Expertise We're Looking ForBachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience3+ years of Health and Welfare benefits service experience3+ years of experience (and demonstrated competence, depth, and breadth) of professional experiencePrior client implementation andor platform migration experience a plusExperience in Agile preferred, but not requiredProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsThe Purpose of Your RoleThe Health & Welfare Implementation Benefit Analyst is a key member of the Health & Welfare (HW) Center of Excellence Implementation and Migration team that services Fidelity clients. The role provides for the ability to work in a growing Health & Welfare offering, access to scalable technology while continually enhancing your knowledge of the Health & Welfare benefits administration landscape.The Skills You BringAbility to independently manage one's own workloadRegulatory and legislative knowledge in aligned service areaUnderstanding of benefits administration systemsDemonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to conduct analysis and document findingsProcedure execution and process improvementThe Value You DeliverAlign, plan, and execute new product capability delivery with in-flight implementationsDrive and / or support execution of key implementation activities (example: data conversion load).Participate in validation and/or testing efforts to ensure results meet the client and/or product offering requirementsPartnering with the Director- Client HealthCare Consulting to define client specific configurable variations to support a client plan and/or administrative requirementsPerforming root cause analysis to determine gaps or trends for continuous improvement opportunitiesSubmitting requests and/or assisting with translation of business requirements to technology partners, as applicableCreating training material and reference material for participant servicesAssisting and coaching the broader virtual teamEngaging in and/or leading ongoing courses to support continued personal developmentIn addition to the above, the Center of Excellence (COE) requires skills in the following area:Client Requirements DocumentationReview client provided documents and the Information Requirements Checklist (IRC) and/or Plan Administration Manual (PAM)/Status Change Matrix (SCM) and complete the Client Requirements Tool with the clients plan rulesDocument gaps for the Client HealthCare Consultant to follow up onProvide support to Client HealthCare Consultant on Requirements Workshop callHow Your Work Impacts the OrganizationFidelity's healthcare administrative services are backed by the service, trust, and experience that have helped Fidelity become America's Retirement Leader.
