Ready to grow your career with an industry leader? today—we're excited to welcome you. #UatInsurity Insurity's Next Sr. Business Analyst The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements and/or functional specifications as needed, including the determination of system impact. Participate with customers and internal functional areas as appropriate throughout the development, testing, and installation processes. Research and evaluate alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions. The individual contributes to activities to improve quality and advance the overall analysis practice throughout the organization. The Senior Business Analyst may provide coordination for small initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess a strong desire to develop technical and business knowledge relative to the implementation of insurance processing.

  • Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and non-functional
  • Develop customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g. Wireframes, Use Cases, business rules, etc.)
  • Perform and support testing efforts
  • Assist in the estimation of work
  • Participate in system design and configuration activities
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of P&C insurance experience including industry operation and claims systems processing.
  • 4 years of business analysis experience
  • Prior experience with Insurity ClaimsXPress preferred
  • Familiarity with database design, SQL queries, API's and overall software development lifecycle preferred.
