Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a business analyst, including 3+ years in a leadership or senior role with experience leading, mentoring, and coaching less experienced analysts
  • Professional experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook); advanced Excel skills required (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Professional experience with process modeling tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN)
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets LCS company's requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or advanced certification (e.g., CBAP, PMP)
  • Proven experience working within regulated utility environments
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Update COC schedule templates with data from program owners
  • Facilitate the scheduling of weekly COC meetings
  • Share screens and participate in Thursday COC meetings
  • Create and manage Teams pages for 3rd Party and COC meetings
  • Facilitate monthly updates and tracking for the SD timeline
  • Serve as co-administrator for the AGIMP SharePoint site
  • Utilize and troubleshoot database reporting as required
  • Manage SD COCs readiness, including soil testing and certification, PUC notifications, permits, detours, and materials, AS8/PV schedule codes, AS8 work order closeouts, environmental reviews and permits, constraint tracking, and future year readiness/design—incorporating construction and trenchless crossings with LD Business Analyst coordination
  • Coordinate with PECO Real Estate and external railroad companies such as SEPTA, Conrail, and Norfolk Southern
  • Lead business and production analysis efforts, collaborating closely with client stakeholders, SMEs, project managers, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts by providing support, training, and oversight on projects and deliverables
  • Conduct process assessments, recommend operational improvements, develop workflow charts and process diagrams, and prepare detailed business requirement documents
  • Analyze operational metrics, develop and maintain production reports and dashboards highlighting KPIs, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activities, identifying risks, resolving issues, and publishing status reports; conduct and coordinate financial, market, and operational research; validate resource requirements; develop cost estimation models; assist in implementing business processes and technology solutions; support change management activities; and ensure adherence to client and regulatory standards throughout production processes
