What is the opportunity? RBC Wealth Management (United States) is hiring multiple Senior Business Analysts to join the Minneapolis PDO group. We are looking for experienced business analysts to work on projects partnering with our Cash Management group. What will you do? Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups Analyze and document scope of the business solution using enterprise-standard requirements methodology Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support business strategies. Create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Mining data from primary and secondary sources, analyzing and reorganizing data in a format that can be easily read. Systems Analysis and Documentation • Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support business strategies. • Define scope and objectives. • Understand how systems are configured • Document system requirements. Systems Maintenance and Support • Create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required • Designing new computer systems and frameworks • Troubleshooting technical issues • Risk mitigation planning • Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent Data Analysis and Maintenance • Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems. • Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine. • Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts. What do you need to succeed? Must-have 5+ years of Experience working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation Nice-to-have Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA) Masters Certificate in Business Analysis Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA-CBAP or CCBA) Agile Certification (CSM, CPO) Trading systems experience What's in it for you?
