About The Position

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll be partnering closely with our Underwriting and Operations teams to deliver meaningful, value-driven change. You’ll build strong relationships and a deep understanding of business challenges to help shape and prioritise initiatives aligned to Ando’s strategic objectives.
We’re open to considering the type of work arrangement, whether as an independent contractor or on a fixed-term basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role if that’s of interest. Given the significance of the projects underway, we’re ideally seeking a minimum commitment of 12 months. Please mention in your cover letter which working arrangement you prefer.

Requirements

• You’re a passionate, seasoned Senior Business Analyst with extensive project experience working in the insurance sector (either for an insurance company or a broker environment).
• This role is business-focused (less on the technical/analytical side) so you’ll bring exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to build authentic, trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
• You’re at your best partnering with the business to understand problems, navigate complexity, and shape practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Driving clarity and momentum across complex insurance initiatives by deeply understanding business problems and desired outcomes
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape decisions, align priorities, and turn ambiguity into clear delivery paths
• Leading discovery and analysis that enables practical, value-focused solutions across underwriting and operations
• Translating business needs into delivery-ready artefacts that accelerate build and implementation
• Supporting future-state design and smarter ways of working aligned to Ando’s strategy
• Enabling successful delivery outcomes by proactively managing risks, dependencies, and change impacts
